3 Weeks and Counting

Happy Mercredi everyone! (Mercredi means Wednesday.)

Things are moving along here in good ol' Albertville. Since today's Wednesday, most of us were not in school today and the 3 oldest only had a 1/2 day. So, we just stuck around the house, played outside a bit, and some of us even managed to get in a game of Settlers.

The day wasn't without its challenges though. There was more than the normal "stuff" that happens during any given day and so, looking at Janice right now, I can tell that she will be very glad to find the pillow tonight. (And, she's probably thinking "I wonder what it's like in Steve's world?")

I titled today's blog "3 Weeks and Counting" because there are approximately 3 weeks left in the Trimester. When it's over, we will have a very large exam that we need to get 50% on to pass (that's 60 points out of 120). It's split 50/50 oral vs. written so I have a chance to pass even with the anticiaped zero points in the verbal portion. Yes!

We plan on just hanging out here during the Christmas break. And, we will entertain some visitors for a few days as well so that should be a fun time.

We checked the weather in Fergus Falls yesterday. The low was 1 degree F. I can tell you that we DO NOT miss that kind of weather. The coldest it has been here is in the high 20's.

Have a great day.

Thanks Steve for keeping us informed on whats going on in your corner of the world. Better you doing the testing, not us as we have not been keeping up in French class!
Tho we'll be missing all of you terribly, as we already do, we'll be praying for a beautiful, peaceful and enjoyable holiday season and a surprising Christmas, including a very definate feeling of being loved immensely, both by Our God, and also by friends and family.
Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!
Love you all, more than words can say....
