The other day Janice and I were in the kitchen with Ethan and Esther. Esther, who is unlike any of our other children (by that I mean we have had a very difficult time with her behavior and with training her... she's just plain strong-willed), was not acting properly. After watching Janice and I correct and discpline her a few times Ethan says, "She's a baby who has been trained to talk but she's not a baby who has been trained to obey".
He said it so sweetly and innocently that it brought a smile to both of our faces. Ah, kids!

Too cute! But she is soon not going to be the baby anymore. Big sister in a couple months! What does she think about the upcoming event?

I don't think she will like the baby taking all het attention but then again if she keeps on her NO OBEYING track...she will get LOTS of attention! Maybe not the kind she likes though...
All of this behavior tells me that her mission in life will require much strength and that "in training"for all of that you get to be the ones who bring that determanation to obedience to her higher power, good luck and God Bless,
