Rock Rouge

Hi there.

Yesterday, Payton, Emma, Keturah, Gracey and I went with a bunch of other people for an early morning hike up one of the mountains here to a place called Rock Rouge. The hike itself took us about 4 hours and while it wasn't particularly technical in its requirements (we walk on a nice path most of the way) it was VERY physically demanding. The vertical grade varied from just a couple of percent to upwards of 15 percent or more. It was, without a doubt, the most physically demanding hike any of us Fludes have ever completed.

I've included a few pictures for your enjoyment.

Breathtaking views! It looks like the kind of place where you are suppossed to break out in a verse or two of "the hills are alive - with the sound of music"!!!
