Hello from Chad!
It's 11:21 AM right now and so far the day has been without incident or fanfare. About the only news worthy of report is that Liddy is still sick. We treated her for Malaria to no avail. Now, we're treating her Typhoid and dysentery as she's been having some nasty intestinal problems. Pray for her. If she doesn't show improvement by tomorrow morning we are going to take her to the clinic.

Dennis Foreman, (solar guy) here, just read your blog, 1st time. Look foreward to getting to know your family. I am sure you have done this already, perhaps more than once, but for the sake of us "newbee's" could you post (again!) the dates of your family's birthdays?
Ethan, you don't know me, but I believe the Lord put you on my mind without my realizing it, because I was just thinking about your family, the last few days, and the Lord must have known you might need a bit of cheering up.

If the Lord sees fit, this will be my first time in Africa. I have a lot to learn!
