Today was maybe the best day since Janice has been gone for it being "normal". Kids actually schooled, some shopping was done, we played a little, and the kids all go along. And, as a bonus, after stopping the generator to add diesel, it actually started up again after I was done! Yippee!!!
Highlight of the day was getting to talk to Janice for an extended number of minutes. And, every kiddo got to talk to her too. She sounded great.
Low point of the day was talking to Liddy, hearing the sadness in her voice (she wants to be home in the worst way), and realizing that she was crying. Broke my heart.

Liddy is such a trooper Steve. I don't know how many of us as adults could go through as much testing and prodding as she has in such a short period of time and still have a sweet smile!
