A day in the life of....

Hudson William Flude. Well, actually, it is more like 7 days in the life of the little fella but that doesn't sound so catchy, does it?

Anyway, one week ago today Janice and I took to the French Military Base where he had surgery on his manly part. You see, Hudson was born in Paris last year and the good people of France don't circumcise their little fellas until they are at least 3 years old. So, not only is he atypcial of the Flude men but he's also, we've come to learn, prone to "problems" down there especially if we are not really diligent about getting a clean diaper on him.

Well, somehow he developed a nasty little problem with his manhood that needed emergency attention. Thankfully, we were able to get him taken care of because the doctors at the French Military Base were kind enough to see him.

So, one week later (today), we took him back for a checkup. Everything looked good according to the Doctor so he received a clean bill of health. And, as an added bonus, Hudson will be getting circumcised on the 12 of March. (This is great news because we thought we'd have to wait until our return to the states in 3 years.)

Other than that, we're all pretty healthy except for Payton. He's suffered from a fever, headaches, fatigue, and some other flu-like symptoms since the early part of January. Pray for him as all of the tests he's had have come back normal so.... we just wait now to see if he improves.

Until next time.
